Students at Papakura Central School should NOT wear uniforms!

Students at Papakura Central School should NOT wear uniforms.

I think students at Papakura school should not wear uniforms because they should be able to express themselves not just by their character and emotion/feeling, but by style and fashion.

You also can't be yourself when you’re wearing your school uniform, right? Not everyone one is the same person, they have their individual and unique way in fashion.

We have to stick up for who we are, and how we do that is through our clothes. Whether if we’re happy, dark, or crazy, we have to show it, without having to say it, through clothes.

No one should even be caring about what other people are wearing. Students shouldn't even be paying attention to anyone else choice’s or what they wear, their attention should be on learning and their teacher.

Plus uniforms cost money. What if someone can’t afford to buy them for whatever reason.

This is why I think uniforms should NOT be worn at school. This is a free country. So say no to uniforms.

Why should we wear hats?

Students and Papakura Central School should wear hats during term 1 and 4 because you can get really bad sunburn.
Sunburn is caused by exposure { Having no protection from something harmful} to the ultraviolet {UV} rays of the sun. There is two types of ultraviolet rays, UVA {ultraviolet a} and UVB {ultraviolet b}. UVB radiation causes the most sunburn about like eighty five percent {85%}. But, most UVB rays are absorbed by sunscreens, but only about half the UVA rays are absorbed. But, both UVB and UVA can cause skin cancer.
There is also a third type of ultraviolet ray which is called UVC { ultraviolet c }. UVC is the most dangerous of them all but it is now completely blocked out by the ozone layer and doesn’t reach the earth’s surface.

So children at school, make sure you wear your hat before you go to play outside!
