Maths Week 2-Sign language

This week was Sign Language Week and for maths we had to create a presentation with the numbers 1-10 in sign language. I had also made slides for skip counting in 2's and 5's. Can you sign numbers in Sign Language?

ANZAC Puzzle

Lauren Boyle

This week we had to make a profile report on a althlete that competes in the Commonwealth. I chose Lauren Boyle.She competes in the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics. Did you know Lauren has won 19 medals?

Roald Dahl

For reading we had been learning about Roald Dahl, we had to display our work on a presentation, I chose Emaze. We had to find out when his birthday was, about his family life and his favourite things. Did you know his favourite book he has written is The BFG?

Bella's Iphone case

This is my fillet Iphone case that I created and designed on a website called Tinkercad. We had to make a rectangle and add fillets or chamfers. In each corner we had to put a hole metafillet and group it together which makes it a round edge, which is called fillet and chamfer is like a cut off edge. We had to make a rectangle slightly smaller than the actual phone case which would be where the phone would fit in. Once we finished doing that, we made the camera hole using a metacapsule. We also had to make holes for the charger, the volume button and the on and off button. We made the on and off button, the volume button and charger hole using a rectangle. We made all of them hole, which means transparent. Once we had done all of those we grouped them all together. The things I found easy were the buttons, and the little rectangle for the actual phone. What I found quite hard was the camera, and the round edges. It took me 3 days to make but the result was worth it.

Two weeks ago we had a different teacher in class and we had to choose a celebration, as you can see I choose Holi. I think that Holi was an interesting topic to write about. I hope you guys enjoy this presentation as much as I do. Bella
